Organized Crime in NC (lottery)
The NC state house voted yesterday, 61-59, to hand the state over to organized crime... in other words they approved the lottery.
Now we can only hope that more responsible folks in the Senate will vote the other way, 'cause we know crime boss wannabe Mike Easley will sign it if it gets to him.
The following members of the house voted for this criminal legistation that will take food out of poor kids' mouths and destroy public education:

The Organized crime is in all over the Government, so why not in the form of a lottery? Aren't our troops already playing the lottery daily? I say bring them home to protect our borders, mind our own business regarding people we do not even know, and stop insisting that we, the US should control everybody else, when we can't clean up our own Country and Government! Maybe the brain smashing head banging "prayers" in that end of the world don't want our interference. If our troops were on active duty here, and our borders were protected and our CIA,FBI and other Govt. organi-zations were doing their jobs, we would not have to fear another 911. If we didn't want all the oil on earth, we would be here, where we belong, protecting Americans and American soil. So, a lottery, - is it any more demeaning than life in the USA? Deceit, embezzlement, pornography, smut, sex, child abuse hatred, violence on TV, on videos, electronic toys for instant gratification, illiteracy, poor grades, improper English grammar, etc. etc. etc. A lottery - Organized crime - life in the United States! What's new?
