Podcasting and the Goblin Guitar

OK, so I finished wiring up the Goblin Guitar this morning. After fixing a really stupid wiring mistake and burning my fingers on a soldering iron, it sounds great.

I thought this would be a great opportunity to do my first real podcast (as opposed to just presenting a song in podcast format). So I recorded a couple of tunes live on the Goblin and packaged it up with some narration and another recently recorded tune to creat a little 11 minute radio show.

If you're new to receiving podcasts, just go here to download the ipodder.net software.

Or, if you're feeling overwhelmed by new technology, I put an old-fashioned mp3 DL link there as well.

Enjoy:

Proud to be Banned

In George W Bush's fascist America, the only proper place for a free man is in prison... Fortunately, they haven't caught me yet, lol.

But I did hear on the radio the other day that my name is on the no fly list. This is not terribly surprising since my legal name is very common. I wonder if they actually mean me? Could be. My sources in the FBI tell me that I'm considered a potential threat, lol.

There's also a right-wing extremist active in local politics in a nearby city with the same name - could it be him? Naw... he's much more likely to be a terrorist than I am, but he's Dubya's kind of terrorist.

And then there's my dad who has the same name... he was a non-violent civil rights protester in the 60s. He wouldn't hurt a fly, but maybe the government's still pissed about that.

Well, don't know the answer, but I do know the government has its collective head up its collective ass, lol.

I remain the enemy non-combatant. *Enemy of anyone trying to tear down the Constitution, that is.
