What's Wrong With You?

Over 10 years ago a bunch of idiots in Bosnia (well, two or three bunches of idiots) and another bunch of idiots in Rwanda were going around killing people and chasing the survivors out of their homes over petty ethnic differences. It made me pretty mad...

So I wrote a very angry song... "Bosnia". I hoped the song would be permanently retired...

But a few years later, another bunch of idiots was doing the same thing in Kosovo and I released new recordings of Bosnia... is this kind of stupidity just endemic in humans? I hope not.

Now the same nonsense is going on in Darfur... and to a lesser extent (with lots of political complications) in Iraq.

Anyway, I am releasing "Bosnia" again... this time played on cigar box guitar and renamed "What's Wrong With You?" in a sad acknowledgment of the universality of this problem. I think this time, I've toned down the anger in favor of sadness in the mood of the song.

A Cigar Box Guitar computer game...

Do you play computer games? A few weeks ago, I decided to write one... and it's available now for you to play.

It's called "The Quest for the Blue Potato" - in which our heroine, Bekah, sets off to find a Blue Potato to rescue Doctor Oakroot from a poison dart and ends up traveling back in time to build a cigar box guitar, which she plays for various creatures on her way to find the Blue Potato.
