Being raised essentially an athiest and then finding my faith has taught me that it really doesn't matter which faith you have, so long as you can have a little faith every day.
Yeah, people make the mistake of thinking that faith has something to do with believing a particular mythology (whichever mythology they subscribe to)... but that's not it. Faith is about knowing that things are fundamentally all right.
